Its 8Cr13MoV blade carries a black-oxide coating and a slight recurve that gives the edge useful bite for everyday cutting, including fibrous materials. The glass-filled nylon handle keeps the knife light at 3.2 oz. while providing a full 4.3″ closed grip. A flipper activates the assisted opening system, and the liner lock secures the blade in use. The reversible extra-deep-carry clip supports right- or left-side tip-up carry, making the Lateral easy to position for daily work or tool-bag carry.
