The Buckingham Web Friction Saver 57-48 creates a retrievable rope path over a suitable tree crotch to reduce friction and help protect both the climbing line and tree. This 48″ version uses 1″ black webbing with a green nylon protective tube and two different-size anodized aluminum rings for line routing. It can be installed and retrieved from the ground and may also be used as a false crotch. Buckingham rates the Web Friction Saver for human support only, making that limitation important when selecting it for a climbing system rather than a rigging application.
