The CMI RP131 is a larger heavy-duty arborist rigging block for lowering and false-crotch systems using rope up to 3/4″ diameter. Stainless steel side plates provide a broad protective profile around the rope path, while an aluminum sheave and stainless steel axle balance strength with manageable weight. The block uses a bushing-driven sheave and measures 7″ x 5″ overall. CMI publishes a 40,000 lb. minimum breaking strength and a 5.6 lb. product weight, making the RP131 the higher-capacity counterpart to the 5/8″ RP130.
