The CMI RP146 Giant Arborist Block is built for high-capacity tree rigging with lines up to 1″ diameter. Blue anodized aluminum side plates keep the block lighter than an all-steel design, while the 4.5″ aluminum sheave runs on an Oilite bronze bushing around a stainless steel axle. Its large rope channel and substantial 9.25″ x 6″ frame accommodate heavier bull ropes used for demanding lowering operations. CMI publishes a 68,000 lb. minimum breaking strength and a 13,600 lb. safe working load for the RP146.
