The best sweatshirt I have ever owned. Well worth the money. If you work outside this is a must.
Thomas - 08/01/2018
This sweatshirt is awesome! I own both the double and single thick hoody, so was really excited when the zip-front came out. I bought one as a birthday gift to myself, and wear it all the time. The best part is that a friend of mine bought me one for my birthday too! So now I have two. I can color coordinate my hoodies! Great product, great value, great quality. Thanks Arborwear!

This thing is AWESOME, fits very nicely, not all baggy and misshapen like lots of stock hoodies. It is super warm, the arms are just the right length and because it is trim-cut; it stays put while climbing. As a working arborist, this is a bonus. The over-sized hood would go over my Petzl ercin-roc easily, but really, it just gives me that "Jedi-Knight" look while I'm wearing it! Well worth the cost, quality made, tough and functional. Everything I need in the transition from season to season here in Ontario :)

This sweatshirt rocks harder than Pantera. We live in Fargo, ND, and this has been the mainstay since it started getting cold in September. The craftsmanship is absolutely awesome and first-rate: zipper, cuffs, fit, waistband, inside pocket..from to bottom there are no flaws in design. It trashes other jackets and sweatshirts without remorse. It even washes quite easily. My first Arborwear purchase and I am very happy.

I like the thick fabric, arm gussets, hard-hat sized hood, extended zipper, and internal pocket. The fit, however, is not good. The torso is much too wide and the arms are too short, especially if you're doing overhead work.

I've been looking for years for these sweats. I purchased both the double-thick sweatshirt and sweat pants. As I've gotten older I find that I get chilled in the Winter more easily and my home, built in the energy free 50's, has very insulation in the walls (none, actually). After last Winter when I realized I was staying in my office longer just to keep warm I was determined to find just the right clothing to wear when I get home. I found it! Who would have thought to spend this much on a set of sweats? Worth every penny! When I get home I shuck off my suit and put on these wonderfully warm and very well made sweats. If there is any problem is that I tend to live in them at home in the evening and on weekends and my family is tired of seeing me in the same clothes all the time. I think they're just jealous.

Love it.

I live in northern CO, almost to Wyoming, at 8500ft. Winter is no joke here. For the past 5yrs, I've worn this sweatshirt with a tshirt under it, almost every work day. Granted I'm not outside in it all day, but the times I am outside this does the trick. I noticed last winter the zipper was starting to go, so I'll be getting a new one soon. Nothing lasts forever, but I don't own anything else that I used every day for 5yrs and isn't broken.
Spoada - 12/01/2018
Had my double thick hoodie for nearly 10 yrs now and it is the best. That and my barn coat makes me through the winter here in Western NY. Put it under my leather and go out for a ride and staying warm. Best hoodie I've ever had. Need a new one this one is getting worn out a little.

I'm a lobster man & go out almost everyday. Massachusetts gets pretty cold in the winter, not anymore tho. The double thick sweatshirt has done very well w/the weather & work I do. Thinking of grabbing the sweat pants now. I can't believe the beating it has taken & it's still in 1 piece & no rips yet either. It's deffinately my new go to product.
Glassman - 12/19/2019
I love this hoodie it's been my winter coat for 5 years now and still going although I did buy it's replacement just in case Arborwear lost their minds and discontinue it. I've got the 10 year hoodie made in the USA at the same price point but doesn't come close in quality to the DT full zip.

Great jacket but the hood is worthless.Way to big to be usefull to the average wearer and is does tighten up.
Jason - 10/31/2020
I have had mine a couple of years and I plan to buy another one. The hood fits over my hard hat and helps block the wind on cold days. I wear this solo in the fall but use it as part of my layers in the winter. I also like the fact that it is thick and heavy, very durable.
bruce - 12/07/2020
love the shirt but wish you could offer the string tie you could always take out string if you are cutting trees
Jon - 12/17/2020
I got one of them years back. As a canadian this piece is awesome. Durable, thick and warm. I still have my older one and bought another new in a different color. I still use both, I'm planning to get a third one. A few times in a lifetime you come across quality gear and clothes so better get them. It's one of the rare piece of clothing that's still good and around my closet.
Ali - 12/24/2020
Well worth the money and incredibly warm, as you can't feel the cold winter wind at all. My only issue is that I wish it came in tall sizes. The size that fits me the best leaves me with short sleeves/length, and the larger sizes are just too much width. But otherwise, there isn't a better hoodie out there!
Spoada - 02/09/2022
I've had my hoodie for over 15 years. Though the cuffs are worn out the hoodie is still doing it. This hoodie and my barn coat keep me warm here in western NY most of the winter. And when I go ride my Harley in cold weather it's under my leather.

I went to school in Boone NC and then after college moved to Michigan. This has been my go to jacket for each winter, it’s super warm and does a great job at blocking wind. If it gets rainy/snowy or super windy I throw a rain jacket over it and I’ve never gotten cold
